Santos is a Latin-Mexican inspired steakhouse located in the heart of San Jose's San Pedro Square. The interior architecture was designed to reflect the richness and authenticity of the cuisine. Drawing inspiration from the Yucatán region of Mexico, Manu Studios embraced a warm, tactile material palette with a jungle-lodge sensibility, layering hand-textured plaster, dark walnut, woven rattan, and wood-relief paneling with green onyx surfaces and terracotta accents.

Cascading greenery drapes from exposed beams, while low amber lighting creates an intimate, candlelit atmosphere that echoes the warmth and depth of the culinary experience. The layout carries that same variety of mood across a single footprint, much like a tasting menu moving through courses. The result is a space that channels the earthy, sun-warmed glamour of a Mexican getaway into a downtown steakhouse built for authentic flavor and craft.
